SCOPE

The Portuguese Young Chemists Group as the pleasure to invite you for the 1st Portuguese Young Chemists Meeting -1stPYCheM- which will be held in Lisbon from the 15th to 17th of October 2008. The conference venue will be the Instituto Superior Técnico conference center in Lisbon.
This meeting will be a privileged forum in which the industrial and academic national young chemists may present their latest’s results as oral communications or flash oral communications. In addition, four plenary lectures of general interest and regarding chemistry important topics will be delivered by senior scientists.

Apart from the expected participation of chemistry related companies, the organization is looking forward to the participation of senior researchers and professors which will certainly contribute to the overall quality of the scientific discussion.
The organization expects the participation of all young chemists doing research in Portugal and abroad, so that this 1stPYCheM may be regarded as a success which will endure in the future.
